Lorenza Ghinelli is the new name of fiction: his first novel "devourer", published by Newton Compton (pp. 256, € 9.90) is giving a hard time with books and writers of repute: for the publisher, his literary debut is the most important part of this beginning of the year. Sold in Spain, Brazil, Holland, Russia and France, the book tells the story of Denny, a child of seven years with a toxic mother, a father and drunken crowds, classmates bully him and consider him crazy. Four editions in twenty days, a huge success. Did you expect? what were your hopes and expectations?
obviously hoped that the book was fine, and I was hoping for me and for the Newton, as this book has believed and invested a lot. is a shared success. But I have uploaded this hope with expectations excessive. In short, we are now in its fifth edition, no, I did not expect.
Anyone who has read the first novel? Alessandra Penna in 2010 was to believe in the book so much to expose themselves in person, is my editor, and the results are extremely gratifying that we are collecting.

Can you tell us about the inspiration and in the gestation of "The Eater"? "The Devourer" I wrote between 2006 and 2007, but the figure of the Devourer haunted me since I was a child. What your nightmare or your anxiety texture gives body and texture?
