Message of Jesus Prayer of St. Francis

23 - 08-2010

Here we St. Francis , in his humility, which always distinguishes him in his messages and his humble monk's robes. I would like - if you will - to highlight the title that he himself has given this message: Prayer because when I read that you can not define it in another way.

"I greet you, put it, and I greet all of you who believe in God, and I also greet you, poor naive, you say you do not believe in God. Today I would like, with you, praise God, yea, praise the Lord, our God, in the persons of the Father and the Son - God almighty and glorious - and as the best father follows his sons

To thee, glorious God, I turn, asking, in your great goodness, to forgive: to forgive all of us, children of God, where, pursued by our spiritual life miserable, you get enough praise. Forgive us, unhappy in the way on this earth, if well with all the best available to us poor, miserable, we do not understand that the true and only happiness is to serve you, Jesus Christ. Serve the divine realm, and then settle our thoughts and our nightmares of your comforting arms, magnificent God and Holy Mary. Forgive this man and this woman, your children, forgiving their children, your children, forgive their children's children, your children forever, and all generations on earth - your land! - Have come: to destroy and change the world that you had prepared for him, the haven that you had created. Forgive them, and all those who come, who have forgotten your name or forget: Forgive them, they do not know.

And finally - my great and wonderful Lord - who forgives, in your name, kill, destroy, enslave, violent and bring pain: Yes, my Lord, forgive even those who from time to mess you scrub, and the worst of crimes covered ; forgive him and show him what is your kingdom, so he asks you forgiveness, telling you, Lord, forgive me, because I was wrong!

Thank you, Lord, hear my plea, and thanks for every day, every hour, every minute, to allow me to love you and praise you, thank you, for my brothers who travel the earthly life loving you, perhaps even as I am able to do, thanks to all those who forgive, and to all who deserve your punishment, thanks for the good gifts to us all, but also for pain which every now and then you submit: it gives us a chance to feel the pain of Christ on the cross endless, small part of his pain, we delude ourselves to be a bit 'as Christ on earth, and maybe see our brother in Christ, and not an enemy. Thank you, Lord, and a thousand times, thank you! And please do not ever take away the joy of loving and serving Thee.

Yours forever, your will, with joy. Francesco D'Assisi.
